It’s party time in Teleria! It’s RAID: Shadow Legends’ 5th anniversary and we’re marking it with the new Festival of Creation event – a giant carnival which sees all the races and peoples of Teleria come together to commemorate the world’s creation.

You are cordially invited to RAID: Shadow Legends’ 5th Anniversary!

March 7th is when the Festival of Creation fun kicks off, with the party wrapping up on April 4th. During the course of the RAID: Shadow Legends 5th anniversary, the in-game Bastion will be transformed into a bustling carnival, complete with festival tents, a new background music track, and Champions enjoying all the fun of the fair.

A special RAID: Shadow Legends 5th anniversary gift also awaits. Players just need to open the game every day between March 7th and March 12th to pick up amazing prizes like Shards, Silver, and a Legendary Skill Tome. If you are a new player and looking to start playing RAID: Shadow Legends during its 5th anniversary, you can use the Promo Code FESTIVAL5 until April 4th to gain the Epic High Elf Champion, Tayrel, as an extra bonus!

As is now tradition every anniversary, players will be able to receive their yearly RAID Chronicle video during the Festival of Creation, which will either be an in-depth recap of their RAID: Shadow Legends progress so far, or a reminder of some of the amazing additions that have come to the game in the past 18 months. The RAID Chronicle will be available in-game between March 7th and 28th, with players gaining some additional rewards for sharing their videos via Facebook or X.

Those who watch their RAID Chronicle or spy many of the in-game activities for the Festival of Creation may also notice a rather dashing figure gazing into their crystal ball or enchanting the crowd with a song. Just who is this charming character?

Welcome Armanz the Magnificent

This confident performer is none other than Armanz the Magnificent, loyal servant of the Arbiter and the Festival of Creation’s master of ceremonies. An expert fortune-teller, lute player, magician, and showman, you will be able to add Armanz to your Champion Collection via a dedicated Fusion event held during the 5th anniversary celebrations! Don’t fret if you’re unable to obtain Armanz during this Fusion – he will be available to summon from Ancient, Primal, and Sacred Shards as well.

Good news – Monster Hunter is collaborating with RAID: Shadow Legends!

From January 9th to March 5th 2024, you’ll be able to obtain up to five Champions based on the Monster Hunter franchise as well as take part in special themed activities and community events! Read on to find out more…

Meet our Champions!

There are five exclusive new Champions being released as part of the Monster Hunter collaboration. Rathalos Blademaster can be picked up for free simply by logging in to RAID: Shadow Legends for seven days starting between January 9th and February 27th 2024 (the latter being the latest you can start your seven days and still get Rathalos Blademaster) – check out his full skillset below.

• Spirit Thrust – Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 50% chance of placing a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff for 2 turns. If the target is a Boss, this debuff cannot be resisted.
• Spirit Step Slash– Attacks 1 enemy. Every second use of this skill in a Round will attack all enemies instead. Will also ignore 25% of the target’s DEF. If the target is a Boss, will ignore 100% of the target’s DEF.
• Overhead Slash – Attacks all enemies. Before attacking, places a 30% [Increase C. DMG] buff on this Champion for 2 turns.
• Rathalos Mastery [P] – Inflicts 50% more damage against targets under debuffs. Receives 25% less damage from enemies under debuffs. Every fifth skill used by this Champion deals 200% more damage.

Along with Rathalos Blademaster, the following Monster Hunter Champions are also up for grabs:

• Zinogre Blademaster
• R. Nergigante Archer
• Alatreon Blademaster
• Fatalis Blademaster

These Champions will be available to summon via Shards and as part of special in-game events, so make sure to check back regularly in-game to make sure you get them!

Are you ready for a powerful warrior with a mischievous heart? Time to meet Sun Wukong in RAID: Shadow Legends!

How can I get Sun Wukong?

As part of the Sun Wukong Chase event from August 22nd to October 31st 2023, you can unlock the monkey king for free by opening RAID: Shadow Legends on any seven separate days. This means October 23rd is your last chance to log in for the last seven consecutive days of the event.

After this, you’ll be able to summon Sun Wukong from Ancient or Sacred shards like other popular RAID Champions.

For true monkey king fans, Sun Wukong will also have a special Victorious Fighter skin available in game as well as a matching player avatar.

Last but by no means least, if you share the fact that you’ve unlocked Sun Wukong on social media when prompted by the game, you’ll earn a sweet gift of 120 Energy, five Superior Spirit Potions, and ten Spirit XP Brews!

Who is Sun Wukong?

A prominent figure in the iconic 16th century novel Journey to the West, Sun Wukong is going to bring a new flavor to the RAID: Shadow Legends Champion lineup.

An Attack-type Legendary Champion, Sun Wukong is part of the Skinwalkers Faction, and comes with a skillset that reflects his lore in popular culture – with a few RAID twists!

Known for his immortality, Sun Wukong as a RAID Champion has a unique passive ability that revives him with full health and Turn Meter three turns after he dies. His other skills specialize in stealing and blocking buffs as well as bypassing enemies’ defenses – build him right and he’ll be an invaluable addition to your Champion roster (to that end: keep an eye out for our Sun Wukong Champion guide as well!).

Is anything else happening to celebrate Sun Wukong’s release?

In addition to a special CG launch trailer set to an exclusive cover of a chart-topping single, there are also going to be several community events celebrating Sun Wukong’s arrival in the game.

Live Arena has arrived in RAID: Shadow Legends! Live Arena unlocks at Level 50 and allows players to fight against each other in real-time, 4v4 Champion battles.

You’ll pick your Champions and ban an enemy Champion, before choosing a Leader and heading into battle. Remember — you’re fighting another player in real-time here, so use your best strategies to demonstrate your tactical brilliance!

Win battles to earn Live Arena Crests and upgrade Area Bonuses at the Great Hall to make your Champions more powerful in specific areas of RAID: Shadow Legends! Climb up through the Tiers, earn Fragments of a new Void Legendary Champion, Quintus the Triumphant by completing Reward Milestones, and earn new Impulse and Zeal Artifacts.

RAID: Shadow Legends has grown into a massive collection RPG mobile game, loved by players around the world, and the team is celebrating the anniversary in a big way! We’ve been preparing for the anniversary for the last three months with our massive Anniversary Titan Event. Hard Mode Dungeons have arrived in RAID: Shadow Legends! New challenges await in familiar places, with Tainted Bosses presenting fiendish takes on classic Dungeon encounters. Take on 10 new Hard Mode Stages of the Ice Golem’s Peak, Dragon’s Lair, Fire Knight’s Castle, and Spider’s Den, after defeating Stage 25 of each respective Dungeon.

Your old tricks won’t work here — each new Tainted Boss has a new set of abilities and immunities. You’ll need to rework your teams and think outside of the box to ensure you defeat them, and get your hands on the rewards they’re hiding!

Speaking of rewards, Hard Mode Dungeons are certainly worth the effort! Hard Mode Dungeon Stages have a chance to drop Mythical Artifacts and Accessories, a Rarity which was previously only available in Hydra Chests. This means you can find Mythical Artifacts and Accessories from a wider range of Sets and Factions, and farm them whenever you want.

Dive into the Hard Mode Dungeons, defeat the Tainted Bosses, and get your hands on powerful Mythical Artifacts and Accessories!

A terrifying new foe has come to RAID: Shadow Legends, guarding its lair and protecting its horde of treasures — Al-Naemeh the Sand Devil is here! Buried deep in the Sand Devil’s Necropolis, this Boss will see players fight to earn Oils so that they can Ascend their Artifacts.

Using Oils to Ascend Artifacts in RAID: Shadow Legends is similar to Champion Ascension using Potions, but with a few key differences. You’ll spend your hard-earned Oils to Ascend Artifacts and grant them bonus stats, making both them and your Champions more powerful.

Getting Oils requires taking on RAID’s newest Dungeon Boss — Al-Naemeh the Sand Devil. This fearsome foe hits hard, destroying your team’s MAX HP with devastating attacks. Raiding the Sand Devil’s Necropolis requires a well-thought out team of warriors that can stand the toughest attacks, deal major damage, and dish out important debuffs like Sleep.
