Luocha is an Imaginary character who follows the Abundance path. He was first released as a playable character during the second phase of the Version 1.1 update, and his kit has almost everything you'll need in battle. Here's how you can easily build him to keep the team alive.

However, when it comes to healers, Luocha has stayed at the very top. He's also received quite a few new Relics and Light Cones with time, and this article has been updated to reflect the same.
Best Relics And Planar Ornaments For Luocha
You can place up to four Relics and two Planar Ornaments on the character when you head over to the Relics screen in the character information menu. The former can be farmed from world exploration or Caverns of Chaos while the latter will require you to venture into the worlds of the Simulated Universe.
Every time you put two or four pieces of the same set, you'll get a set bonus unique to that set. Some of these bonuses can synergize with Luocha's kit quite well, and here are the best ones:

Musketeer is quite an easy artifact to farm since you can get it from Exploration and Echoes of War as well. |
Passerby Of Wandering Cloud | One thing you'll notice about Luocha is that he doesn't need to use as many Skill Points. This is because his heal can trigger automatically when a character is in low health. This set increases his efficiency even more. It increases his Outgoing Healing for the two-piece and gives you one extra Skill Point at the start of the battle. You can also use the two-piece of this set with two-piece Musketeer. | |
Thief Of Shooting Meteor | Apart from his Basic ATK, Luocha can also remove the enemy's Toughness bar with his Ultimate. Space Sealing Station | 120 SPD isn't as hard to get once you have your character fully upgraded. If you have that SPD, this set gives you up to 24 percent ATK, which in turn increases Luocha's healing. It'll also give him extra damage when you perform his Basic ATK and Ultimate, making his damage quite decent. | |
Penacony, Land of the Dreams | While Luocha can generally be used in any team you desire, some of the best value you'll get out of him is when he's used alongside Imaginary DPS units like Dan Heng: Imbibitor Lunae and Dr. Ratio. Apart from giving him four percent Crit Rate, you can get up to 40 percent Crit DMG based on the enemies you defeat. Of course, you'll get the most value from this set in the places where you need to defeat multiple enemies like Pure Fiction. |
Once you've figured out the Relics and Planar Ornaments you want to use on Luocha, the next step is to figure out each gear's main and sub-stat. Usually, you'd have an easy time building a healer, but Luocha is a little different. You need to look for a bunch of stats on him if you want to make him as strong as possible.
For the main stats, you should be looking for the following on each gear:

You can't get Energy Regeneration Rate as a sub-stat in Honkai: Star Rail and SPD is also quite rare. It's important to have these two stats as the main stat on the respective gear. As for the sub-stats, you can look for some Effect RES, SPD, ATK Percent, and Crit for Luocha.
If you're planning to build him on Break Effect with Talia and Thief sets, you can also look for some Break Effect on sub-stats.
Best Light Cones For Luocha
Once you get Luocha on your account, you'd first want to place a decent Light Cone on him. It might be hard to get his best Light Cone for free-to-play and low-spending players, so here are all the choices:
Echoes Of The Coffin | This is Luocha's signature Light Cone that can only be acquired by pulling on the weapon banner when the character is featured. This Cone gives you 24 percent ATK and regenerates your Energy based on the number of enemies hit during an attack. This can stack quite well with the Energy you gain if you're using the Thief Relic set. Moreover, all allies gain some flat SPD for one turn whenever he uses an Ultimate. |

Time Waits For No One | This five-star Light Cone is a little easier to get since you can buy it from the shop as well. The HP provided by the Light Cone is quite useless for Luocha, but everything else fits him perfectly. Your Outgoing Healing is increased by 12 percent. Moreover, whenever you heal a character, they deal extra damage equal to 36 percent of that heal in their next ATK. This is great for Luocha because he also heals characters when they attack during his Talent field. |
Perfect Timing | This is the four-star signature Light Cone for Luocha that increases his Effect RES and the Outgoing Healing is also increased based on his RES. This stacks well with one of his bonus abilities. |
Night of Fright | This Light Cone can provide Luocha with some Energy Regeneration Rate and heal the ally with lowest HP whenever he uses his Ultimate. However, the main reason for this to be good for him is the final part of the passive. Whenever Luocha heals an ally, he gives them an ATK boost for two turns, which can stack up to five times. As long as you have a good uptime on his healing field, you'll have maximum stacks of this effect at all times. |
Shared Feeling | While it might not be the best, the effects of this Light Cone are quite consistent on Luocha. It gives him extra Outgoing Healing and regenerates some Energy for all allies whenever his Skill is used. The automatic trigger of his Skill stacks with this Light Cone, giving characters some free Energy. |
Multiplication | If you're new to the game, you can use this three-star Light Cone. It advances your actions forward whenever you use your Basic ATK. This can make Luocha quite good at regenerating Skill Points for your team since you don't need to use his Skill as much. |
Luocha Traces Overview And Priority
Just like every other character, Luocha has a set of eight main Traces that you can unlock. You can also upgrade four of them up to level ten. Each Trace in Luocha's kit is very valuable, and here's what they do:

Prayer of Abyss Flower | Skill | Gains one stack of Abyss Flower and regenerates a ton of Energy for one ally. If an ally goes below 50 percent health, this ability automatically activates. This can only be triggered once every two turns, but it doesn't consume a Skill Point. |
Death Wish | Ultimate | Deals a ton of Imaginary DMG to all enemies and removes one buff from each one of them randomly. Luocha also gains one stack of Abyss Flower |
Cycle of Life | Talent | When the Abyss Flower stacks reach a total of two, they're used up to create a field on the battle. This field lasts for two turns and it heals any ally that deals damage to at least one enemy. |
Mercy of a Fool | Technique | The field from Luocha's talent is created at the start of the next battle after using Technique. |
Cleansing Revival | Bonus Ability | When you use your Skill or if it triggers automatically, one debuff is removed from the ally who gets healed. |
Sanctified | Bonus Ability | Whenever an enemy is attacked by a team member, everyone except that team member regenerates a bit of health. |
Through the Valley | Bonus Ability | Luocha's chance of resisting crowd-controlling debuffs is increased by 70 percent. |
As you can see, apart from being a phenomenal healer, Luocha can also remove enemy buffs and ally debuffs. Both of these effects are great for keeping your team alive and preventing ally turn skips. When it comes to Trace priority, it's recommended to focus on Luocha's Skill first as it gives the most healing.
You can upgrade his Talent after that and Ultimate at the end. It's not required to upgrade Luocha's Basic ATK but you can get it up to level four or five since you'll be using a bunch of Basic Attacks to conserve some of your Skill Points. The Cleansing Revival ability is the easiest and the most important one to unlock.
Are Luocha's Eidolons Worth It?
If you keep pulling on Luocha's banner and get his copies, you'll unlock one Eidolon for each copy. These Eidolons permanently buff the character in some way, but they might not be easy to get for free-to-play or low-spending players. Luocha can already do a lot of things at Eidolon Zero.
However, his Eidolons are very interesting as they can make him a Harmony, Nihility, and Preservation character at the same time. Some of them boost your party members' DMG while others reduce the opponent's RES and DMG. The bottom line is, if you can afford it, you'll have a lot of fun after getting his Eidolons.
It's important to note that you don't need these Eidolons by any means. He's still a great character at Eidolon Zero.
